Thank you Tara for sharing this post! Everyone feel free to continue passing this wonderfully inspiring message along.
Get Ready*********Keep this going around the globe .. read it and forward every time you receive it. We can't give up on this issue.Paul Harvey and Prayer Paul Harvey says:I don't believe in Santa Claus, but I'm not going to sue somebody for singing a Ho-Ho-Ho song in December.I don't agree with Darwin , but I didn't go out and hire a lawyer when my high school teacher taught his Theory of Evolution.Life, liberty or your pursuit of happiness will not be endangered because someone says a 30-second prayer before a football game. So what's the big deal? It's not like somebody is up there reading the entire Book of Acts. They're just talking to a God they believe in and asking him to grant safety to the players on the field and the fans going home from the game. But it's a Christian prayer, some will argue.Yes, and this is the United States of America and Canada , countries founded on Christian principles. According to our very own phone book, Christian churches outnumber all others better than 200-to-1.So what would you expect -- somebody chanting Hare Krishna? If I went to a football game in Jerusalem , I would expect to hear a Jewish prayer. If I went to a soccer game in Baghdad , I would expect to hear a Muslim prayer. If I went to a ping pong match in China , I would expect to hear someone pray to Buddha. And I wouldn't be offended. It wouldn't bother me one bit. When in Rome .But what about the atheists? Is another argument. What about them? Nobody is asking them to be baptized. We're not going to pass the collection plate. Just humor us for 30 seconds. If that's asking too much, bring a Walkman or a pair of ear plugs. Go to the bathroom. Visit the concession stand.Call your lawyer!Unfortunately, one or two will make that call. One or two will tell thousands what they can and cannot do. I don't think a short prayer at a football game is going to shake the world's foundations.Christians are just sick and tired of turning the other cheek while our courts strip us of all our rights. Our parents and grandparents taught us to pray before eating, to pray before we go to sleep. Our Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. Now a handful of people and their lawyers are telling us to cease praying.God, help us. And if that last sentence offends you, well, just sue me.The silent majority has been silent too long. It's time we tell that one or two who scream loud enough to be heard that the vast ma jority doesn't care what they want. It is time that the majority rules! It's time we tell them, You don't have to pray; you don't have to say the Pledge of Allegiance; you don't have to believe in God or attend services that honor Him. That is your right, and we will honor your right; but by golly, you are no longer going to take our rights away.We are fighting back, and we WILL WIN! God bless us one and all .. especially those who denounce Him, God bless America and Canada despite all our faults. We are two great nations. God bless our service men who are fighting to protect our right to pray and worship God.Let's make 2009 the year the silent majority is heard and we put God back as the foundation of our families and institutions... and our military forces come home from all the wars.Keep looking up.If you agree with this, please pass it on. If not delete it.'AND THAT'S THE REST OF THE STORY'

Blogspot Drama
My wonderful friend Tara recently posted about all the drama that goes on with Blogspot.. When I have time I like to read through blog's to see what people have been up to, some people I know, some I do not; I just like seeing how talented people are with cooking, crafting, photographing, etc. It is sad to me that nearly every week someone is being attacked by someone else about how they 'stole' their idea. It's ridiculous & childish. Many people are talented, which means many people can create things. Walgreen's didn't sue Rite Aid for moving to the same town and setting up a pharmacy, ya know?! With that being said, I borrowed some of Tara's blog post. It describes exactly why I have a blog and says a bit more about how much drama goes on with blogspot.
A piece from Tara's post::
There is SO MUCH controversy (D.R.A.M.A) when it comes to who creates, designs, cooks, bakes, sews, etc.. on blog spot. However, I'm just here to ramble on about my day and my experiences with a new chapter in my life. I'm not into the "who stole what idea". Even though I am an opinionated person, I think I'd be a better person to not throw my 2 cents in where it doesn't belong.
If I leave a comment stating that I like something, I'm not opening a door for anyone to fill me in on how the idea was brought about nor am I opening a door for you to use my page as your "outlet" for frustration. My blog is not about your drama- It's about mine :)
Anyway, to read the whole post click on her link under my "links" heading. Tara is such an inspiration to me and her blog is so uplifting. You'll fall in love with it too, I promise. Hope everyone has a wonderful "drama free" weekend.
Love ya'll- Hailey
I found 2 quotes that fit this topic perfectly.
"Life is just a mirror, and what you see out there, you must first see inside of you." - Wally Amos
" The ability to focus attention on important things is a defining characteristic of intelligence" - Robert J. Shiller

How I wish I was back there!!
I hope everyone is having a great start to the New Year. It is so hard to believe we are already in the 2nd week of the new year; time moves so fast these days!
I am so glad the sunshine finally made it appearance! I am so sick of cold, yucky, rainy weather. It's just so depressing...Which is why I posted the pictures of the ocean and the gorgeous sunset that I took in Aug 2008 in Panama City. I wish I was back there where the sun is always shining and it's warm. I am definitely not a cold weather person, I could live on the beach!!
On a different note, as we enjoy the fresh start to the new year there are many people out there who continue to need our prayers, some needing our prayers now more than ever. It saddens me to see what is going on in our world today. Honestly, it's getting rather scary with so many places closing down and so many people losing their jobs. Everyone please remember to pray for those struggling to find jobs and for those out there who are looking for jobs.
PLEASE REMEMBER Andy Dunn and his family in your prayers. This little boy has been through so much and definitely needs our prayers. Also, please pray for his family to have strength. If you wanna read more about Andy's story please click on his link underneath my 'links to love' heading, and feel free to leave a comment on his page. Please pray for all the children living with childhood cancer. It is such a heartbreaking thing these children have to go through dealing with all this. It just breaks my heart.
Also, please continue to pray for those who are serving our country.
Cole and I went to Callie and Dylan's Stephens wedding on Jan 3, when I get the pictures uploaded on my computer I'll post some of them on here!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week and weekend. God Bless
Hailey
